Students who major in English gain a large variety of transferable skills such as communication, analysis, project management, content creation, argumentation, problem solving, and many more. It can be confusing to navigate the wide field of options open to you. This workshop is an opportunity to learn more about writing-related careers, and what one actually does in the day-to-day workings of various writing jobs. Come see examples of internships and careers that have been held by students in our English department, and get hands-on experience of the tasks and skills they employ on a daily basis. You will also learn about the advising and career resources available to English majors.
